Notre Dame Restored This post has been a long time coming. Five years ago, Notre Dame De Paris, perhaps the most beautiful cathedral in the world burned down. Like many, many others, I grieved deeply at this loss. It's horrible whenever something beautiful is destroyed, but the burning of Notre Dame was particularly horrible because of its spiritual significance. Notre Dame De Paris is the spiritual heart of France, and one of France's most important symbols. It is one of their holiest places and greatest prides. For it to be destroyed was a terrible loss for them. But she stands again. Notre Dame De Paris has been rebuilt, and rebuilt to her former glory. Despite heavy pressures to "update" the cathedral by turning it into a post-modern abomination, France insisted that Notre Dame be rebuilt the way she was before. They put forward a massive effort to restore her the way she deserved to be. Her restoration is a true achievement and a true miracle. Despite everything...
